Mountain Biking

The Mudgee region has a number of Mountain Bike riding options which include single track trails, dirt roads, stock routes and fire trails.

With growing numbers of local MTB riders in the region, the Mudgee Cycle Club has added a Mountain Biking division to the club. As a result the club is now working with the Mid Western Regional Council and NPWS on the development of an official MTB trail network within the Mudgee Common and Avisford Reserve. It is hoped that work will begin on the development of this area late in 2013.

The club will be looking to hold regular races once the trails become official, along with regular MTB skills clinics which will cater to riders of all levels, especially those looking to take up Mountain Biking.
